Happy Halloween!

It was a fun and festive Halloween with our Roman Warrior Princess!

We got to hang out with many friends...

And even J got into the spirit...

M had a great time and her candy haul was definitely the biggest so far...

The Boo Begins...

The AFS Halloween Parade kicked off the frightful festivities for the weekend.

M's class chose an animal theme, so we had the cutest baby lion ever! (Check out the lion family they decided (on their own!) to make):

After the parade, came the Fall Fest - M's last year as it's only for EC and Kindergarten. Here's this year's family photo:

To our beautiful boy...

What a difference a dozen years can make! Today started off not with spa treatments or boathouse prep, but instead with an 8am visit from our shower glass installers (they're removing the door so that some additional marble and tile work can be done).

Next, we headed out to Winnie's Le Bus in Manayunk for breakfast. It was romantic in the way that only telling a 6-year-old to "sit right" in her seat 87 times can be. ;-)

After, we headed off to the playground and the Philadelphia Art Museum. This was a real treat. We all loved it and the museum was empty given that it was a Monday!

Before heading in, we made sure to snap some pics at "K's gazebo"...while K wasn't wearing a wedding dress, the view was just as (if not more!) gorgeous!

No trip to the museum is complete, of course, without an updated "R is for Rocky" pic!

We rounded out a very fun day with a walk through with California Closets...they're still fixing things. Gotta love the Money Pit.

Ended the evening with a cozy fire and some time just for us (and T & T). Ahhhh...

Now...only if we were headed off to Italy tomorrow!

Just Do It!

It's been a sporty week.

K & J had their first squash lesson and it was a big success. Fun date night!

M had her first Field Day at AFS. She loved it!

There was even a "Tug of Conflict" (it's a Quaker school!)

We capped off the weekend with our first family tennis lesson. We had a ball!

Last event of our Sunday was a school open house in Mt. Airy. Someone has some school spirit! (She was telling all the kids "you'll love going to AFS. Here's a magnet for your Mommy's car so she can be proud!"). Adorable.
