VT Vacation - Day 2

Kayaking and swimming at Lake Ninevah to start the day.  (We forget how "back" some of the back roads are here in VT!)

Now off to Rutland for some cabin supplies and a maple creamee!

Got some great new boat gear in Rutland and M got her first fishing rod.

We ended the day with a great campfire and made dinner using our expertly crafted campfire skewers (thanks Uncle S!). M was in heaven.

Whew! 8pm seems late when you've been outside adventuring all day :-)

Here's to another joy-filled VT day tomorrow!

VT Vacation - Day 1

Trekked up to VT today (M says the drive is "way too long") and got to sit on the dock before bedtime. Check out the amazing reflection!!!

Summer is here...

...we know this because our garden has started producing tomatoes!

...and because the wedding season has started (congrats S & S!)

Next up...vacation!!

Happy Father's Day

We broke away from our gardening tradition, but had tons of fun downtown celebrating Daddy!

First, we started with breakfast at Down Home Diner at Reading Terminal Market

Then we played mini golf at Franklin Square

Next, Franklin Square was actually hosting a kids tumbling class. As you can see from the pics, M was so shy & timid. ;-)

We rounded out our Franklin Square experience with a spin on the carousel.

We ended the day with a stroll down Elfreth's Alley and ice cream at Franklin Fountain.

Someone loves her (wonderful) Daddy!

Happy Father's Day to All,

Lots o' Happenings...

It's been a few weeks, so here are some fun updates. First, we had a fun and festive Memorial Day weekend, where M tried her hand at mini golf for the first time (a BIG fan!). She loved it and K had TWO holes in one, but M was the only witness...

There was lots of eating and ice cream, too!

Then, "real life" intervened and K had some moles removed (so far, all clear).

M has started really getting into the cooking - she is a sous chef extraordinaire!

Then, we had the last day of school at GFS (June 12, 2014). M got flowers for being such a great student and so excited about school. (Note the yellow flowers - her favorite!)

And then T was 11! Happy birthday to our first baby.

Lots of love to all,
K, J, M, T & T
