Lots happening over the last month or so and now that we are back in VT (ahhhhh!), we actually have some time to post about it. 😄
So, after we returned from our 4th of July trip, we diligently hit the pool with a goal of getting M swimming all on her own by the end of the summer...SUCCESS!
We also had a BIG birthday. Our girl is FIVE!?!
The first weekend in August, K and M headed to Dallas for a girls weekend (because what better time to go to the Lone Star state than when it's 110 degrees!). We had a wonderful time visiting with Aunt A!
Here is M at the new Perot Museum:
We hit the zoo for K's corporate outing day and, as a longtime zoo member, M was cool-as-a-cucumber (her favorite!) showing all the kids around.
Then, on Aug. 23, a big milestone - first tooth lost. In pure M fashion, it got very loose and started to "feel funny" so she reached in for a "I do it myself!" extraction. Got it on the first yank.
The Tooth Fairy did visit and brought M a quarter and a Doc McStuffins (new fave alert) figurine.
Other than that, we've been trying to enjoy all the city has to offer this summer, like the pop up park at The Oval:
