Operation: Prep & Prime -- SUCCESS!

Very happy to report that we're at 95% for O:P&P. We made HUGE progress on Sunday (big thanks to K's Dad!) and are just finishing up doors on the 2nd and 3rd floor and the 2nd floor trim. Otherwise, we're in great shape and Operation: Kitchen & First Floor begins.

In other news, we had our first childbirth class last night - first, the hospital is POSH! Very nice and comfortable (not that we'll be in any state to notice or care!). For anyone planning to come to the hospital and/or visit, you're in for a treat.

Much to K's enjoyment, she was the thinnest woman in the class - a feeling entirely unknown to her until now. (And one that she's happy about since her doc says her weight gain so far is totally fine, if not "perfect" - so don't worry, Pipsqueak is getting plenty of nutrition and is growing up a storm!). So, it seems that Pipsqueak is continuing to go easy on us...so far, super smooth. We'll see how long that lasts! There is a lot more dancing and kicking these days. Pips continues to love the sound of the dogs barking, power tools and, as K discovered this morning, the dentist's polishing brush. Funny.

Now, onto the Money Pit - here are some photos so you "get the picture" - for this post, we'll stick to the 3rd floor (too many pics!)

Third Floor BEFOREs (these really don't do justice to the cracked plaster, peeling paint, old electric, ancient/broken windows, etc.):
