Operation: Prep & Prime

The list continues (now both Jason and Keri have dueling rundowns of in-progress and must-do items - fun!) and the goal is for the entire 3rd and 2nd floors to be painted by Sunday evening (not including the 3rd floor playroom, which must do double-duty as a staging area for the door painting assembly line).

Can it be done?!?

Current status: 60%
Bathroom (3rd floor) - complete
Nursery - complete
Bedroom (3rd floor) - complete (as of Saturday - yeah!)
Hallway (3rd floor) - taped, ceiling primed, door frames scraped, sanded and primed, window frame scraped, sanded and primed
Guest Bedroom/Kitchen (Temporary - 2nd floor) - taped, ceiling & walls painted, one window primed and painted, finishing edging on Sunday
Lounge - taped, ceiling & walls painted, finishing edging on Sunday
Guest Bathroom (2nd floor) - taped, ceiling primed
Hallway (2nd floor) - ceiling primed

Here are some in-progress photos so you can see how the rooms are shaping up...

3rd floor bedroom (our master bedroom starting tomorrow and until we renovate the 2nd floor master suite!)

Guest Bedroom / Temp Kitchen

Lounge

Whew! It was a busy Saturday of taping, cleaning, scraping, sanding and priming. Tomorrow is a full-out painting day (J is getting a hand from K's Dad) and K will be unpacking/setting up the Lounge and the Guest Bedroom/Temp Kitchen (makes perfect sense for those two rooms to go together, no?).

On Friday, K previewed the kitchen cabinets and loved them - they are a GO. Now we just have to get through these lists tomorrow so that the 1st floor demo can begin this week.

It's May and the third trimester has officially begun, so we're in the final countdown stage now...gotta go work!

Cheers,
K&J
