It was an overcast, but still beautiful day in VT and we headed to a new hiking destination...the Appalachian Trail!
M did wonderfully, even over steep and rocky terrain.
We did about a 1.2 mile loop and it took almost an hour (giving you a sense of the elevation and trail conditions) and then capped it off with lunch in one of our old favorites, the Inn at Long Trail (good food, great view, huge boulders in the dining room and pub that they built the inn around, fun old-school game room).
Loving it...
